I am at the end of my tether with my 3 year old boy who won't stop spitting at me and the rest of the family and thinks it is funny- not just a dribble- proper projectile spitting. I have no idea where he has picked this up from, but more importantly, I have tried every strategy in the book to get him to stop- time out, stickers, firm voice, ignoring and yes, even shouting out of pure frustration. not just at home, in the supermarket etc. feeling very low as nothing seems to work and no idea what to do next. any tips, help, advice etc much appreciated

No personal advice on this one but I did read on here a month or so ago. The one suggestion I remember is to take the fun away from it by encouraging them to spit in the sink or in the back garden....

Sorry can't be of more help! My DS is only 4 mths at the moment and I'm not looking forward to this potential behaviour!
