she literally goes wild, falls over, curls up, runs about, starts singing/shouting.

anyone elses 3yr old do this? my mum took dd2 with her today to collect dd1, and she said she was exhausted after 5mins of trying to dd2 to calm down. as soon as she steps through that gate its like something goes off inside her.

dd used to be like that when ds arrived back from school. They'd go frantic together and, in fact, even though they are now both at school , that first half hour can be manic.

I was going to start a thread about my dd2 misdee as I have a similar problem. She was a lovely baby and toddler but once she hit 3 it started to go downhill and I had exactly the kind of thing you describe. I was dragging her across the playground to get home most days (and was heavily pregnant to boot). Now she is 4.6 and still awful -I'm getting seriously worried about her behaviour - and it gets much worse when we go to pick up dd1. I've just had an awful week of agressive, destructive bahaviour, been hit and kicked and ended up smacking her. Feel terrible now .

dd2 has also had a destructive week, she is so much calmer on fish oils, but has refused to take them in any form, i have tried oils, the chewy capsules, hiding it in her drinks.

do you think it could be excitment at seeing ehr much adored/hated(depends on the mood) older sister?

What fish oil is it misdee? I might give it a try.

she was on eye-q, but she is refusing to take it, so am on the lookout for something more suitable.
