Wellies for prewalkers?

Going camping next week and don't know what to put on my little boy's feet when he's playing out in the rain! Almost walking independently but quite wobbly! Was going to get jellies but they're all too narrow. He's a G fitting. Thinking about wellies but worried they'll be bad for his feet while he's not fully mobile yet. Or water shoes but can't find any on high street. Help please?!

these
They come from muddy puddles , but they don't have them in stock on their website.
We have a pair that have lasted 4 children :)

what ever " shoes" he normally wears but with plastic bags over and elastic bands round. but not too tight!

Waterproof trousers too or just accept he will get VERY wet sitting down frequently.

Thanks for your help mymumdom and UniS. The Muddy Puddles look lovely and a fab website which I will def use in the future. Thanks for idea of using plastic bags and elastic bands. Very useful and cheap alternative!

I wouldn't advise boots. My dd has trouble walking in them and she has been walking for 7 months.

We have a wellie weather suit type thing (ours isn't Togz, but similar) and then the overbooties which you can see further down the page. They were fab as DD was crawling through the winter and with these she could crawl to her hearts content outside without getting filthy. She'll probably wear the suit this year too as she's still very wobbly (cerebral palsy)

Thanks for this - my one year old isn't quite walking yet but have bought him a puddlesuit and need something for his feet so he can crawl in the mud/climb etc! I had planned to buy him some wellies but it sounds like these may be better (and cheaper!).
