advice please the last few days dd2 who is 2.5 years has been waking in the night

she goes down ok
is waking up late moaning and crying around 11pm - 12pm - you go up to her just seems very restless then she starts again and so on
dont know if behaviour is linked to the heat wonder if she is getting teeth too as in the day hasnt been herself
need advice as we have ended up bringing her down into our bed the last 3days which is aright pain!!
our bedroom is downstairs so alot cooler
was the only choice as we wanted some sleep

have tried giving calpol
water to drink
cuddlying etc
is fine when she comes down

hoping she will be better tonite as cooler

her room has been 30 degrees c at night

Maybe see how she goes another few nights, if it carries on then maybe try getting a little fan and turn it on for a little while before you go to bed. Try putting it away from her but somewhere in her room that will cool her down.

If that don't work and it carries on then you might have to be stern and say no to her coming into your bed.As it will soon become a routine for her and then she will be waking just to come into your bed.

So as it is just a few nights then I would see, I had problems with dd but they were more night terrors and her being scared of her own shadow, so if your dd is ok with being in her room and not scared I would really try keep it that way.

DD is 2.3 and has also woken the past few nights between 12 and 1. I reckon it's due to the heat. Hopefully as it's' cooling she'll settle better. Her room's also been 30+.
