He's been faffing around at swimming lessons this term, and unsurprisingly has not made any progress, has not been promoted up a group, and has not got his next certificate.
Today they had an opportunity to swim distances - normally he barely manages 10m, and he was quite tired today. But he was so determined to get a badge/certificate for school he actually swum a very nice length (25m) of back stroke - I was very proud
Then he turned round and to the astonishment of the teacher swum a second length in front crawl: rather dodgy style but 10/10 for sheer guts and determination
