Apparently it is ear pain caused by teething.

DS is 7.5m and I posted the over day about his shaking/thrashing his head from side to side.

Clearly in a lot of pain.

We have tried Calpol (makes him dopey but still in pain) and teething gel (does nothing at all). Biting things makes him cry. He won't eat (Luckily he is 23lb so has some leeway!). He won't sleep.

Dr says he is absolutely fine in every other respect.

How long does this last Sad

Mine's 2 now & still teething, started at 3 months, it seems to go on forever. I found camomile & arnica probably the best things. I used to get Ashton & Parsons teething powders (camomile) when mine was teeny, but you can get pilules from Helios which are easier to give. Arnica pilules also from Helios, or Boots.

Sorry to hear about the head thrashing, he does sound as if he's having a rotten time, poor lamb. And you too
