Hi all,

My DD is 5 now. Guess I read every "toddler" book out there and have past that stage! Was wondering if anyone has any books that they could recommend. Anything on parenting, behaviour, development for the 5 year plus set. thanks!

I have just read "How to talk so kids will listen and listen so kids will talk". Bloody brilliant book and applicable to all ages right up to teens. In fact I'm using some of the ideas with my adult colleagues.
Playful parenting by Lawrence Cohen is also a good one for any age.

There are 2 books called "How to talk...etc, " one by Adele something or other and one by a Dr (who's name also escapes me). The one by the Dr, I read when my children were little and it's very simple advice has stuck with me, 8+ years later!

"When your kids push your buttons and what you can do about it" was great!
