Im DD has slept great for the past 6 months {she is 6 months 2 weeks now}. Bed by seven awake for 6.30 everyone was happy. occasionally she wanted a feed at around half four. Now she has her normal routine and is bed for seven then wakes at 12 for a feed and is wide awake for 4.30 am with no chance of getting her back to sleep. Does any one have any ideas why this might be happening? I am weening her but she is still in early stanges and has about half a jar a day.

Have you tried knocking the weaning on the head for at least a couple of days? Those jars and weaning food in general is a lot less calorific than milk.

Also, if you are weaning past 6 months you don't have to bother with the jars you can just give more or less what you eat. This book is good.
