electric toothbrush for children

I am keen to get an electric toothbrush for my nearly 7 year old ds as he already has 6 big teeth and i am paranoid about keeping them clean. Can anyone recommend one, or do you know if it is ok to use an adult electric toothbrush on childrens' teeth?

we just use a normal braun oral b one for the kids. You can get character ones too e.g. (I think they are 'Stages' toothbrushes). They can be battery operated or rechargeable too.

We use the Cars one for DS 6 and the princess version for DD 7.

DS 9 uses the Braun Oral B Sensitive care brush. (the adult one)
