mine is 24 months now and he says 'mum' and 'dada'. he cant say 'dad' without the 'a' on the end.

Hi. I have 22 month old and he says mum and daddy. I think it's because DH looks after him 3 days a week when I am at work. Don't worry about it. I am sure she will start soon.

My ds is 20 months and can say mummy and daddy but like hope88 dh does 2 days of the child care. He can't say many other words though. Does your dd say lots of other stuff?

trixie123 · 09/06/2011 09:37

mine says mummy for both of us, also bed, pease (please), tato(potato), cake!, tata (choo-choo), ack (milk) and he can mimic any word including shit and as of this morning boobies (thanks DP). he hasn't yet committed those last two to memory!

Hi OP, my DS didn't say daddy until he was 23 months old, but within 4 months was talking in sentences. Try not to worry!
