6wk old fussing

Hi I'm new to mums net

I have a 6wk old baby and we have been getting in a pretty good routine. However this week he has suddenly become really fussy and screams so loudly he seems really distressed, he cries whenever his mouth is empty I have had to resort to the dummy. He's hard to settle and we feel like we've gone backwards (eating dinner with baby in arms like wk 1!) I've heard that this can be due to them interacting more and fighting sleep, has anyone else had trouble at this point? Thanks x

I read somewhere that it is at 6wks when the crying peaks. There is also a big growth spurt at this age so he may be more hungry for a week or so.

Don't worry it will get better.:)
