We have been having never ending arguments about just about everything and yesterday after long discussions my mum gave her a teddy bear if she will give away someof her old ones.

Well I set a target of keeping 20 (which is quite reasonable) and without any arguments she has sorted out 22 for charity and 20 for childminding

I have given in and allowed her to keep 30 (which is a fair swop for the 42 she has got rid of)

Not bad - no arguements - no tears - no hassle

deep sigh of relief

Fantastic! How old is she?

Desperately need to do similar with ds1 (aged 4) whose soft toys are taking over his room... sigh

Ah - you mean I have to wait four years before some sort of sense arrives?

katymac · 13/11/2005 13:21

and only a small bit of sense at that!
