Have they got a cold? Sometimes that happens when my dd is swallowing lots of snot! It seems to turn it greener. If you're concerned then I'd perhaps ring your hv for reassurance.

Hi no he dont have a cold but has been really unsetteld at night, for about the last 2 nights every hour i thought he was teething because his tops are soak and every going in the mouth.... when he was just having milk his pooh was yellowy and very runny so i thought it was the solid food .. but saying that its not him to be like he is at night,

I've heard the start of teething can affect poop.

Would go hand in hand with the drool. :) xxx

Is there iron in his food now?

Poo does seem to change with teething, very odd, but it does. My DS get's sticker poo and gets nappy rash really easily, no matter how quick we catch dirty nappies, when teething.

Other thing to consider is what you've been feeding him. My DS had really dark green poo one day last week adn I was wondering why, when I remembered he'd had spinich and corgette omlette for tea the day before and he was just pooing spinich!!

I've just started weaning my twins and they have dark green poop too, it's normal.

There is a lovely poo photo's gallery on the baby centre website Grin

I'd give you the link but I'm on my mobile. Hth!
