how do you make visiting with little tornadoes a bit more relaxing?

anybody have tips I'd really appreciate it :)

  1. Exercise before arriving....stop at a park on the way and instigate races, skipping, jumping.......
  2. Pack new and exciting but small toy/game/book/stickers to be opened after polite interval to allow adult conversation.
  3. ensure not too hungry on arrival or too tired if you can.
  4. Food occupies time if you are somewhere that a snack can be provided or you can take it with you.
  5. Find outdoor space and use it.
  6. If you are there with a partner/friend prearrange to swap child care duties over from time to time.
  7. Don't stay too long and you might even be invited back!
  8. Cultivate friends who like tornadoes and don't have precious objects scattered around the place!!!
