DS1 (4.2) seems to be going through early puberty - has been driving me crazy particularly the last few days - punched DS2, threw a toy at DH, threw toys on the floor when told he couldn't have an ice cream. He is also really whingy. I have been using time out for every transgression (never had to use it before!) with an explanation and making him say sorry. But any more tips, feels like he's had a personality transplant!

Have you tried using a star chart? They can sometimes be effective at this age if used wisely. (Not that it ever worked with any of mine though Angry)

Testosterone surge at this age apparently!
