Should my just 3 mo be able to hold his head up steadily?

He holds it up and looks around if you hold him sitting upright on your lap but it's a bit precarious in that if you tilt him forwards or backwards slightly he loses control of it.

We do tummy time and he can lift his head up quite high so i'm not sure if he just gets tired or just doesn't have the control.

What's normal for this age??

I would say he's still got a few more weeks until he can hold his head up steadily. DS was about 4 months I think.

My DD only held her head up properly at 7months, without any bobbing.

My DS was 4 months with no bobbing.

I would not worry x
