How early could you tell personality traits that carried through?

Just curious - could you discern personality traits in your kids from very early on?

yes, from when they were in my tummy!

DD1 was very active and would hurt my insides. At 3 now she is like a hurricane...
DD2 harldy moved at all and is calm and quite. (compared to DD1, still active.)

I agree with the above - DS was so inactive in my tum I was always worring about him ..... he is the happiest, calmest, most loving child and always has been (now 3.6).

Not really. Ds2 was the most placid baby. That has changed .

DS was a very difficult baby which carried into being a difficult toddler and now a difficult child! He's very shouty and loud and obstinate has always been like this. On the plus side he is a really kind boy and this was evident from him being a toddler as he was good at sharing and would cuddle other children if they fell down etc!
