Dd had a bit if a growth spur last year. dd has now been going out which was needed. If the feet start to grow will they have a great spur or will it be slow plus does that mean she due to shot upwards.

DD has just done something similar - feet had hardly grown for a year and then suddenly up by a size. She has suddenly got taller too. She's 5.5 - how old is your DD?

Yep, I remember this when they were tiny.

SHe will probably grow a bit upwards too, but it doesn't necessarily go hand in hand.

Sorry forgot to say dd just turned 10, with early signs of puberty so probably due a growth spur.

i suppose it depends if her feet are tiny for her height,my dd feet used to grow a size ayr from yr 2 in yr 6 she was a size 6.

lexcat · 02/05/2011 21:51

I would say dd feet are small, she's tall for 10 but only just gone up to size 3.

my DS age 9 wore the same size shoes for almost 2 years, he had by far the smallest feet in his year 5 class - last Sept he was a size 13, we bought new shoes last week size 2 !!
I measured him last week and he hasn't grown since December, last year he didn't grow at all for 7 months then grew 4cm between June and September........go figure Wink
