School have just called. DS has hurt someone and they have had to go to hospital.

I'm apalled at his behaviour. Don't know the details yet.....

What can I do?

Oh dear, sorry to hear that.

No advice really, except that I think you should wait until you know what has happened and what the full story is before you decide what to do.

Perhaps you could post again when you have more details.

Try to stay calm....impossible I know.

Find out what has happened first, no point in trying to second guess things, work on from there

hope all is well

Must have been an awful shock but everyone's right, you need to know what happened before you know what to do.

come back to us with an update am sure once you have the details it won't be as bad as the initial phone call suggested.

for instance my dd hospitalised a boy. the boy was on a wall calling her names - she hit him for calling her names - he stepped backwars fell over a back pack and ended up in an ambulance - this is much more acceptable if you like than a hysterical phone call telling you your kid has just hospitalised another.

the boy IMO shoulnt have been stupid enough to stand on a chuffin wall whilst calling someone names anyway.

any way do get back to us

After a good three weeks of beig good today was teh venting day!!!!

This morning he said to soemone he would put a match on the table and burn the classroom. Then he told a little boy his sister would cut out his mouth and a playtime pushed a little boy off a bench leading to a gash on his head. I dont know how bad the gash was.

When asked all he says is that his brain told him to do it? There doesn;t seem to be any provocation that he's telling me about.

He is now screaming at my side asking to watch tv.

oh dear - maybe he needs to see a child phychologist?>

At home he's fine. When i did speak to the teacher I asked her what he cnsequences were gong to be for him and there's nothing, other than talking to me.

This concerns me that in his eyes the school will do nothing.

I stopped him from doing swimming after school and no treats or tv tonight.
