3 year old girl with a hairy neck!

Help! My dd (middle child) has a patch on her neck under her chin which is pretty hairy. The hairs are really quite long! Any ideas what it is?

Could be a hairy mole. Best take her to the GP and ask. Don't fret though, these things can be sorted.

There doesn't appear to be a mole, but I will mention when we go to docs again! Thank you.

I'm afraid some kids are just hairy - I was. If she is just a hairier child and it becomes a problem later on - eg being teased - she can get laser treatment to remove the hair.
Probably worth asking hv or gp about it.
