Teeth Grinding

Dd2 has started to grind her teeth. She does this quite a lot, and because ds and dd1 giggle when she does it, it makes her do it even more!! Can this damage her teeth? Ds and dd1 never did it, so have nothing to go on. Is there anything I can do to distract her from doing it?

my ds does this too. We try to ignore it but it really puts my teeth on edge. I will have to ask a dentist. Any dentists on MN?

dd does it in her sleep, and it's horrible. If I go in to give her a late night kiss and she's doing it I have to leave - fast!

I had a thread on this a while back and someone asked a dentist.

dd2 grinds her teeth in her sleep, like nooka i have to leave sharpish if she is doing it, as i cannot stand it.
