Hello people of mumsnet

baby was seen last week by doc who prescribed antibiotics for what she thought was reddening of ear drum which could have potentially caused an ear infection - i was not present with gp just partner - course started - 3 days later baby has one session of violent projectile vomitting, and 6 poops in less than 24 hr period - with very high temp but he sleeps through the night - at 9 months he has 9 teeth - so poss teething is casuing some of this but he has never reacted like this before to any of his other teeth - back to gp who says stop antibiotics and just let baby rest etc and recuperate without anything - after leaving his high temp remains all day - only goes down with a single dose of paracetamol in the evening and one belladonna tablet and one chomomilla granules dose (spaced out...) is now his usual mischevious active self for the moment - any parents out there experienced anything similar - im not a fan of antibiotics AT ALL unless absolutely necessary - 2nd go concurred and said he would prob not have given any otherwise smiley happy etc baby them.

Anyone experinced this? ta
