My 1 year old DD has taken to biting us and laughing. We have tried firm no's and nursery has not said if she is doing it there. Is this just a pahse and has anyone got any advice how to tackle it?

Try pretending that she has really hurt you, even pretend to cry. See what her reaction is like then. Hopefully she will find this a little distressing and it will put her off doing it again.

Reading that back it does sound a bit mean but worth giving it a go as biting can be a real pain (quite literally) if not nipped in the bud.

my DS2 , 13 months also bites and also laughs - think its at least partly a teething thing - I say no, look stern and put him down on his bottom - he normally crys then - so I think he knows he has been told off - has to be the comibination - also sounds mean!!
