tips to get my 4yo twin boys to get dressed

They will not get dressed in the morning. yesterday they managed it by 1pm. They have been up for 3 hours today and one has got as far as taking off his pyjamas and is running arond naked. The other hasn't started at all.

I have a star chart for each of them but it doesn't seem to motivate them (the last 4 days they got stars very easily)! I have tried a song, a little bit of competition, huge amounts of praise!

Its not easier when I help them because they bounce around, run off, can't stop playing, start fighting......!

Any tips?

put clothes in tumble dryer so they get warm. they then have a race to get dressed before the clothes get cold.

just a normal race against each other with a sticker for the winner.

no tv/toys until dressed.

Get into the routine of dressing before breakfast, no breakfast until dressed.

Take one into the bedroom without the other and make like it is a secret, get them to choose their outfit and then hide, then get twin 2 to do the same. they then have to find each other and guess what they are wearing.
