My toddler will not stop mauling my face

She means it lovingly (I think). But it is really so annoying. She just sort of launches herself at me and pinches/slaps/scratches/grabs my face. Often I am feeling self-conscious because I have scratches and marks from this.
DD, by the way, is two and a half, and seems pretty normal in all other respects. She may be strssed because her father and I parted 6 months ago, and recently our lives have been disrupted because we have to move house for the second time in six months.
Any advice?

They just have no idea of their own strength do they? - bless them!

No constructive advice for comabting this one, other than explaining to DD that it hurts mummy when she does that and that a nicer thing to do would be to give kisses/hugs. I expect you've tried that already though?

TRy just calmly putting her down and away from you when she does it, but responding very affectionately when she approaches you gently.
Like when smaller ones bite because they have no idea what it's like from your pov.
