8mth old making himself sick

Hello. I have a problem with my 8mth old boy. He has always been a really good eater and enjoyed his food. You could put any type of food infront of him and he would try it and usually eat I all up.

Last week he had a stomach bug and was very I'll so much so that he would be heaving and only bile would be coming up. It was very distressing and scary. Although the bg has gone and he is alot happier and got his colour back he has started heaving while eating us food! So much so he makes himself sick. It almost seems like he heaves for the attention bu he goes to far and ends up throwing up all his dinner. I am worried I'll never be able to get him to keep a meal down or feed him in public.

Has anyone else had this problem after a stomach bug or other bad habits? And any advice on how to stop it? I v. Worried he will keep losing weight and not ever keep a meal down!

Thanks - any helpmuch appreciated
Very worried mum Sad

At 8 months old he stil doesn't need loads of food so maybe it's just that after the bug, he is getting used to eating again.

It takes a few weeks for them to get over a sick bug and giving normal amounts of food could simply be too much, too soon.

DD used to heave up pasta within half an hour of eating for a good few weeks after a sick bug.

Their little tummies are so delicater and at only 8 months, he's surely eating little bits hera and there as opposed to proper meals?
