i am a single mother of 21 yrs, still not perfect tho!
i wonder why my child keeps pooing in the bath and how can i stop him from doing this. he has no other behavioural problems, and i am concerned. should i talk to him about the problem or just continue to see if he stops in time?

It will stop in time. Dd did it till she was about 3 IIRC.

I read somewhere that pooing can be more traumatic when potty training because children almost feel they are losing part of themselves. Doing it in a nice warm bath makes it less traumatic. (apparently)

Dd carried on asking for a nappy to poo into years after she had been potty trained. She just didn't like doing it in a toilet!
