11mo strange behaviour after illness

My 11 mo DS has recently recovered from a week of terrible stomach flu. His symptoms stopped and his appetite recovered at least four days ago but his behaviour seems to have changed markedly. He is normally really easy and happy but he has been crying a lot, had having some quite scary screaming fits - the likes of which I have not seen before. Does anyone else have experience of this kind of behaviour after illness? I have taken him back to the doctor who says there is nothing wrong with him.

I have had exactly the same. My DS is also 11months and just had a nasty ear infection, whilst he is much better now he is still very clingy and having more tantrums than normal, i think it is pretty normal behaviour and takes them a while to recover fully from nasty bugs, maybe although he is eating better he still had tummy ache occasionally, you could try probiotics for children, just google it or ask your pharmacy or try some pain releif to see if that helps. hope he gets better soon.
