I don't know exactly where abouts and we us the word wee wee.

Have been to the doctors been put on antibiotics and been refered for a kidney scan at hospital who found nothing.

Anyone have any experience if this?

It hurts when NOT going for a wee.
Thanks

Yes, dd did this at 2.5 so she was speaking really well. Ended up a bit worried someone had touched her and had a very careful and gentle questioning session with her! She refused to let me look so gp gave us antibiotics even thought tests were clear. The medicine either worked or convinced her it worked. Now I make sure she cleans it in the bath - she still won't let anyone touch it but I figure that's a good thing, but she holds it open to show me how clean it is.

I don't really have an answer as medically we never found out what was wrong but it did pass and now she's very good at cleaning it. I've told her that the white discharge she gets (only a tiny bit) shouldn't be ther so she's got a guide as to when it's clean. If it ever looks sore we use sudocrem.

I felt it was linked to her wiping herself after going to the loo.

Hope that helps.

We have wondered if she has not been wipping properly but she wont let us do it anymore.

Will try and get her to clean in the bath abit better.

Sometimes the outer area is red looks sore like nappy rash, but she doesnt wear nappies anymore.

Check in all the creases and internally everywhere - it could be worms. Does she hurst more at night?

Be careful about cleaning too well. Vulvovaginitis (inflamed vulva and vagina) in pre-pubescent girls is often due to chemical irritation from soaps and bubble bath.

Doesn't look like worms. She meantions it hurts throught the day.
DD has eczma so we dont use soap in the bath, just clear water.

My dd1 had this on and off from around 2-3 years. Soreness and redness, which was irritating her. We also felt that it was down to her wiping herslef after going to the loo, and not doing a thorough job! So we made a conscious effort to monitor her, and help wiping if necessary, at least talking her through it. Also, nice long soaks in the evening bath, and again, make sure she knows how to clean herself thoroughly. At this age though, I preferred to teach her how to do it properly, rather than doing it for her, as it felt a bit intrusive.
