Tell me about your 8 week old

I have offered to help out with a friends 8 week old a couple of times a week so that she can have a couple of hours to herself (gym/shops/run errands)

I have had the baby a couple of times and so far I have noticed;

• likes lying in the moses basket watching a helium balloon attached to the side
• likes the sling - but only if I'm standing up
• enjoys walks in the pram

So what does your 8 week old like? :)

Playmat/playgym, baby massage, very clear black and white geometric patterns, being cuddled, breast milk.

Breastfeeding and not much else. None of mine liked the playmat at this age.

My grandson is 10 weeks,he loves his playmat,its a thick padded caterpillar,with all bits hanging and he coos away to it for ages.loves watching music dvds on the laptop,being held and cuddled,talked to and he responds and coos back its soooo sweet.
