Not sure if DD2 is ready to drop morning nap!

We have followed the Gina Ford routine for DD2 (as we did for DD1). DD2 will be one next week, so we are coming to the end of the 'help' in GF's book!

Anyway, I'm wondering if she is ready to drop her morning nap. She currently has about 20-30 mins around 9-9.30am, followed by a longer afternoon nap around 12.30 - 2pm.

Thing is, she is taking 10-15 mins to drop off for morning nap then doesn't seem tired whe it comes to afternoon nap, so takes a while to drop offf then and only has maybe 45 mins or an hour. Today she only had 20 mins this afternoon and was awake just after 1pm, so clearly wil be very tired by bedtime.

The logical part of me says that she probab ly doesn't need her morning nap (or maybe not every day).

At what age did your DC drop their morning nap?

Think I'm going to try her without it tomorrow and see if it helps.

Great name by the way, Fliss!
