Help baby keeps waking!!

for the past 10 nights my baby has started waking ALL night... She sleeps like an angel from about 6.30 til 12ish but then she is awake from then until about 5... She also keeps rubbing her eyes - i know she does this when she is tired but she does it all the time now. I took her to the GP (forgot to mention the eye rubbing actually) on fri and there is nothing medically wrong with her!

She is 17 weeks old and doesn't sleep for more than 3.5 hrs during the day. Any advice really really appreciated!

Are you breast or bottle feeding? Have you started any solids? Do her eyes look red? What do you do when she wakes?

Breast feeding, no solids yet as too early as history of allergies in family, her eyes look absolutely fine! When she wakes, i put the dummy in or pick her up to calm her down, or feed her if she appears hungry???

What does she do when she's awake? Feed, cry, want to play?

she cries.... and then wants to play!
