DDs 6 months, and loves when you play rough like shake her, tickle her, rubb her, bounce on knee, holding her sideway and throwing up
Dh does lots and she loves it, seems like she cries for it.
Im worried, if its not right.
Can anyone tell me???

soem do, soem don't. seems perfctly normal to me. I have four - two loved it, two were scared by it. Depends on personality.

No, please don't do this. Especially the throwing, if he's letting her go and catching her. It can cause serious injury as their neck muscles aren't strong enough to support their relatively heavy heads at this age.

I doubt her dd is being thrown high enough to cause harm. My dt is 7 mnths and too heavy to throw much! Its just sort of jogging up and down. He prob causes more stress on his neck bouncing up and down himself in his activity center - which he can bounce across the room!

No no not like throwing her and catching her up, just hold her in his arms and bring her up and down
She is over 10 kilos, size of 1 year old. She loves bouncer but she is getting close to the weight limit on it

Lots of babies love this! It gives them vestibular stimulation - the balace part of the inner ear - and that's good for them. Obviously not talking about hurling baby about like a caber, but jiggling, tickling, rolling them over, all that is excellent if they like it.
