What's all that about? MIL has looked after her since she was 6 months, now nearly 3 and recently she is inconsolable when I go to work, I do 3 days.

Has loads of time with me and the playgroup say she is fine, no bullying, does lots of activities etc.

Dh has had to leave work early to go and sort her out, MIL was at her wits end.

What's it all about, feel like a pile of crap stuck her in the office.

attachment stuff comes in waves doesn't it. like them realising in stages that you are not them, you and they are not glued together, you do exist and have a life when you are out of their sight.

is awful (i've got this to come, ds is 2 and starting nursery a couple of times a week as of next week) but quite probable that nothing that you're doing or that is happening is at fault, rather she's just getting to another stage of realisation....like everything it will pass?????

hopefully a phase.

Just stuck at work you feel shite for not being there, dh said she cried again on the way in to playgoup so hopefully she is ok now.

MIL can normally comfort her but today she was really upset.

Sigh.

She loves you - that is beautiful - tell her you love her but have to go to work.

Can you ring and talk to her on the phone, or would that upset her. DD loves to talk to daddy every day - we even have video phone on our mobiles

ahhh bless, she came out of playgroup full of beans as they got a surprise cake for her birthday and sang happy birthday to her so she is now ok.

Finish at 4pm so will be able to go and give her a cuddle soon.

xx
