breastfeeding to follow-on milk?

Im breastfeeding my LO and I'm thinking about moving on to formula but heard somethings about follow-on milk. My LO is 6 and a half months and although i love the bond we have from breastfeeding and so proud that i made it to the 6 month mark, for reasons not necessarily importmant, i want to move onto formula, but not sure whether to give him normal formula, hungry milk or follow-on? also he is fully weaned on 3 meals a day plus rusk at bedtime.
Any advice will be helpful.

normal first stage milk or follow on milk would be ok (I dont think you would need hungry milk). Follow on milk has more iron so could be constipating (my dd and ds were fine on it) and you can also get special offers on it. You cant get offers/discounts on first milk

Follow on milk was only invented to get round the advertising rules, so normal is fine, it's up to you. Congrats on feeding for so long :)
