dd talks well, plays nicely with other children, enjoys nursery but cries over little things.
if her nose runs she doesnt just ask fo a tissue or get a tissue she comes to me and cries that her nose is running.
at least once a day she screams/shouts/throws herself on the floor/refuses to get up or do anything and this is brought on by minor things, like asking her to put her coat on or get undressed for a bath or get off the toilet.
she screams so loud and will not listen to reaso.
i have tried ignoring her, she keeps going and going. i have tried telling heroff, made her worse. i have tried telling her why we need to get coat on, she just screams no. i have tried getting my coat on as though im going without her, she screams more.
after she cant explain why she was so angry and she knows why we need to undress etc obviously.
im fed up of battling to get her in the bath.

are they normally still tantrumming at this age?

I found age 3 far worse than 2, TBH. And so far 4 is shaping up to be worse still! Sorry not much comfort I know, but you're certainly not alone!

My 4 year old is terrible at the moment. Taking him to groups is a nightmare, he snatches and screams and if another child so much as looks at the toy he is playing with he melts into a puddle on the floor and howls. I am mumbling "this too shall pass" under my breath rather a lot. Thank goodness my 2 year old is fairly compliant. For now.

Normal. Sorry!

Another one to say that I found 3 far more challenging/difficult/wanted to weep all the time than 2. My DD2 is 3.5 and sounds like yours. Everything is a battle. No consolation I know.

i find myself looking back fondly at the terrible twos Hmm
