Hi can anyone help or give me some advice regarding my 14 month old son, for the last week or 2 he wont drink during the day, he has a sippy cup which he usually likes but just latley he wont take it if i offer it to him he gets angry nad throws it across the room, at the moment he is only taking a 6oz bottle of milk for his afternoon sleep and thats it! This is resulting in him waking up 5-6 times in the night wanting a drink and where hes drinking so much at night his nappies cant hold it all and he wakes every hour or 2 soaked and the sheets need changing, apart from this hes fine. anyone got any tips?

What does he drink from when he wakes during the night?

He has either a sippy cup or bottle with either milk or Juice in.

Charlee...maybe try a small ordinary cup...or will he dring through a straw? HTH Some weeks I feel I'm doing battle with this, esp in the summer when it wss SO hot!

Try normal water from a straw cup. Don't confuse the juice and the cup issue, or you will end up giving juice to a child who would quite happily have drunk water from that particular cup.

Have you tried a bottle during the day?
