My 9 mo ds is in the midst of teething (we think! - has no teeth as yet!). He is right off his food, had little pink cheeks yesterday, temperature last night and has been very grisly for days and nights!!! Altho off his food he was still taking his bottles until today - has had probably 2 ozs of formula today and has always refused water. How concerned should I be? How do I increase his fluid intake? I'm really worried about him!!!

I would take him to the doctor if he's not drinking anything - he'll get dehydrated quickly if he's doing all the dribbling associated with teething. Teething might affect eating but it sounds more like a virus IMO. Is he taking any fluids? How are his nappies? If he's not weeing then that's a definite red flag.
