Does anyone have these? Just wondering if this is something you have to start from birth or can be started at anytime? (LO is 6 months)

Hi

Yep, have the the baby and toddler version. It's something I wish I'd read before I had DD1, to understand more about baby sleep (and so I didn't put so much pressure on myself) but it's absolutely not a 'programme' you have to follow, from birth or any other age. It's rather a set of suggestions, from which you cherry pick depending on your circumstances: co-sleeping or cot-sleeping, dummy using or not, breastfeeding or not. In fact I think it's the least prescriptive book I've ever read about any kind of childcare.

Be warned though - there are no quick fixes. Lots of useful ideas, but they require consistency and take time. I couldn't be consistent at 4am, and I had a very persistent baby, but I know lots of ideas that have worked for other people.

My library service has all the books, so I'd guess others do too.

Good luck!
