I'm sure there are two of my son. One is the lovely cuddly smiling laughing boy and the other is pretty vile.

He's been biting now since about December on and off but his main thing is pulling my hair. As soon as I say no or stop or something like that he looks at me and where my hair is for him to pull at it. He only does it to me but I'm getting pretty bored of it.

He's babbling and I know we are both frustrated I don't know what he means yet but im honestly not enjoying the crocodile tears and being pushed, pulled bitten and yanked

Unfortunately I think it's quite common. My DS likes to headbutt! When he do something try not to react too much. Tell him calmly 'no we do not bite/pull hair' then put him down and walk away to do something else. Hopefully he will start to realise that he doesn't get a reaction so there's no point. Most children think it's funny if you shout/get cross. Also, I have found you have to limit the word no, as it def provokes the strongest reaction. Distraction goes a long way, but it's hard work. You're not alone- everybody's children do vile things sometimes Grin.
