Hi

Can anyone offer me some advice please? I have a one year old who has been sleeping really well both day and night since sep. I've noticed over the last few weeks that his daytime naps seem to be changing and he does not always waqnt his morning one anymore.

I know that this can happen but I still put him down for an afternoon nap, and usually he does need it. But I was wondering if I should try to put him down earlier in the day than I do for the afternoon nap which is normally around 1.30pm- 2 ish. Should I be aiming earlier, or just stick to what I'm doing?

Thanks...................

If you think he's tired earlier, then put him down a bit earlier. You can be a bit flexible until he fully drops the morning nap. DS is 16 months and still has two - but some mornings he doesn't nap, so I put him down for his afternoon one at 12.30 instead of 1 and he;s fine.
