Tiredness in 2yo after starting nursery - reassurance needed

My dd started in Jan and had a cold a couple of weeks ago that she,s getting over. She sleeps badly when she's I'll and today she had a meltdown because I'd brought the pram instead of scooter when I picked her up. She was very tearful when we got home and she's now having a late nap.

The nursery only had afternoons free so she is missing 3 naps a week. I am concerned at how tired she seems and how much her behaviour has changed for the worse.

She goes down about 7 or 7.30 each night and wakes at 7.15.

Should I put her to bed at 6.30 on days she is at nursery or let her nap straight after like today?

How long will it take her to get used to nursery? Any other tips for helping her to cope?

Very concerned as I have been reading about the importance of sleep for kids but was previously worried that dd was bored at home hence decision to start nursery at 2.3yo.

Am pg so a kbit emotional... Really need hugs and reassurance that this will get better/easier.

Yes it will get better. Shame she has to do afternoons. Can you cut back to 2 sessions? 3 seems like a lot at her age.
Have really quiet mornings on the days she's at nursery and easy dinners (maybe in front of tv?) when she gets home.

Give it 6 weeks and I bet you all get to grips with it.

Tks for reply, will have a chat with nursery about going down to twice a week. She is one of the youngest I think so maybe it is a bit much for her. Have been reading other threads about tiredness an it seems that even 3yo kids struggle so she may be feeling a bit overwhelmed.
