four hour routine without a dream feed

Hi, I've been feeding my four-month-old boy every three hours since he was tiny. I had read the Baby Whisperer, and it also seemed to be what he was happiest with. I've now noticed he seems to want to feed less regularly, and I feel sure he can have his bottle every four hours (he's formula fed). However, he's never had a dream feed (has been going through from 7pm to 5am since he was 8 weeks old). So if I feed him every four hours instead of three, he'll only be getting four bottles a day. Ie his routine will go from: 7am, 10am, 1pm, 4pm, 7pm, to 7am, 11am, 3pm, 7pm. This seems like quite little, it also isn't really a normal way of eating. Ie - he doesn't have a lunch and two teas. I'm just finding it quite hard to find any info on routines which don't include a dream feed. Has anyone had a similar problem?

Is he following his growth charts in red book okay? If so don't worry and enjoy the sleep!
