9 mnth baby boy still waking 4 night feed

Hi all just a querie really I'm a new mum and my 9 mnth baby boy s5ill wakes for night feeds bout 2 times a nite is that normal he has his breakfast lunch and dinna with desert and has 2-3 bottles, can

Thanku :) my partner keeps asking wen he's gonna sleep through and I just keep sayin he will in his own time but was just checking x

Give it a few more months, if he's still waking up at night, think about night weaning (gradually reducing one feed at a time in the hope they'll drop it)

Sorry added the same message 2wice, I'm not 2 worried atm how old were ur babies wen they slept through? Could it b bcoz he is quite a big baby but doesn't really eat a lot in the day? X

My first slept through at 4 mths. Pretty much without fail. He is 4 yrs now and still a good sleeper.

My second is 9 mths and up every 2 hours!

Most wakenings are to do with developmental changes/teething/whatever and not hunger. The feed is a good way to settle him though and if he is taking it, he clearly needs it.

You could offer him more in the day but ime it won't make any odds.

Babies are designed to wake in the night for the first year unfortunately for us!

They wake for so many different reasons. If he settle ok after a feed, I'd just keep it up for the time being.
