If a baby's first word is anything to go by my niece is going to be an astronomer ("star!"), my nephew is going to run a cafe ("tea!") and my poor little DS is going to be a roadie ("one-two!").

What do the fates have in store for your LOs?

Going by her first word (car) and her current Lightning McQueen obsession, I would guess racing driver or mechanic. This might be due to my influence though Grin

DD2's first word was booob. and everytime she sees me she yells boooob and climbs in my top. I am not sure what the future holds!

lemonmousse · 14/02/2011 14:44

I'm ashamed to say that my daughter's first word was 'Lala' - probably due to the fact that I used to park her baby bouncer infront of a video of the Teletubbies!
She's now a happy well adjusted 12 year old (even though she exists on a diet of Tubby Custard........)Wink

PoledrathePissedOffFairy · 14/02/2011 14:50

DD1 is going to be a fashion victim 'Shoooooooooooooes!'

DD3 is going to be a baker 'Cake!'

DD2 is going to be opinionated 'No!'

FloweryBoots · 14/02/2011 17:10

Blueberry - my DS hasn't had his first word yet, but a friend told me off for saying boob too much and warned we'd end up with it as a first word, we probably will Grin. Must ake an effort to say milk instead!

My first word was "mop". After seeing this thread I feel considerably disheartened about my future career prospects.Grin

PatriciaHolm · 14/02/2011 18:06

Nursery reckon DD's was "ta", very polite, but I reckon it was "more" (food!) Grin

freshmint · 14/02/2011 18:07

my ds2's first word was "waffle!" (in america, excited by maple syrup)

except he couldn't say his Ws so it was "vaffle!"

We all call them baffles now - in a thick german accent

muminthecity · 14/02/2011 18:11

DD's first word was England (whilst watching football during the world cup!) I'm not sure what that means her future career will be Confused

According to family legend, my dad's first full sentence was "I've got two fucking legs!"Shock

VenusInfers · 14/02/2011 19:44

Ds' first word was 'up' because he constantly wanted to be lifted up or climb up onto something. Maybe he's going to be a mountaineer or a dog trainer?!
