Do hyperactive looney babies turn into hyperactive looney children?

My ds is nearly 10 months, he is a little looney, I wouldn't have him any other way. At baby groups and among other friends people always comment on how much more active he is than the other babies (a lot of which are much bigger so he does attract attention).

Some people have made flippant comments about him having AHDH when he is older.

I was wondering if there is a correlation between baby behaviour and later behaviour or do they all even out once they can run around?

ADHD, and rereading that - I wasn't implying that children with ADHD are looneys.

I remember googling ADHD when my DD was a year old and being very reassured! She's now 3 and is still very active but I still wouldn't swap her. There's a huge range of normal so my advice is don't worry and just get ready for finding out about lots of local playgrounds and being internally shocked when you hear stories about their peers going to the cinema/theatre/any activity requiring being still!

DD3 is a loon as well but since her older bother was just the same and didn't turn into a loon I'm hoping for hte best. DD3 is also tiny!
