5 year old suddenly bedwetting...

Hello

My 5 year old, who has only wet her bed about 6 times in her whole life, has wet the bed for the last two nights. It's totally unlike her and I have no idea why its happening. The first night she said she was having a dream that she was going to the toilet and when she woke up she had wet herself, but last night she had no idea why it had happened. She'd even made a point of doing a wee before she got into bed.

Have had a good chat and she says nothing is worrying her. She talks really enthusiastically about school and skips into class happily every day.

Just wondered if anyone had any experience of sudden bedwetting

Thanks

Could be a urinary tract infection.

My GP said that it can also be caused by constipation, as the 'blockage' puts pressure on the bladder.

Especially if she sleeps on her front.
