How do I teach DD to roll from her front to her back?

DD is 5 months and can roll from her back to her front. She then ends up stranded and upset. How can I teach/encourage her to roll back? It seems a bit mean to leave her stranded. Where do babies arms, legs and heads go when the roll from front to back? Thanks!

I'm not sure you can teach her to roll back, she'll do it when she's ready.
Could you put some toys in front of her to play with when she's on her front, then she might not be as frustrated :)

Not sure it'll help but my DD never did. She would roll one way but not the other, and then sat up and 5 and a bit months. I wouldn't worry, they move onto something else fairly shortly.

My DS has been at this but has now started rolling back onto his back, thank goodness. Whenever he got vross about being stuck on his front I tried to roll him back rather then picking him up hoping that would show him what to do. I raised the arm he would be rolling over above his head then rolled him. No idea if that actually did anything to help though, I think they just do things in thier own sweet time. I should think he'd been rolling onto his tummy for about 6 weeks before he rolled back.

Thanks for the posts, I have tried putting more toys out for her on her front which prolongs the time she is willing to spend on her front.
