Am I being ridiculous to feel guilty...

....that my dd (6) is watching a DVD and doing bugger all else today?

She was at Rainbows last night, she's been at school all day, then she had art club, she scootered home from school and now she's happily watching a film. At some point we'll do homework but other than that she'll be in front of the telly.

I am knackered, just need to relax and yet feel an overwhelming guilt that I am not doing something more stimulating with her....Am I being daft?

Yes you are. Daft and just like me. Down time is important. So long as she's not watching some kind of snuff movie you can allow yourself - and your DD - to relax.
