too soon for teeth...

If you can remember; when did your DC get their first teeth and how long did they have any symptoms before it popped up?

I ask as several people have said DD is teething, but she is only 13 weeks old. She is drooling a lot, biting my fingers/nipples (owww) and has intermittently crimson cheeks.

I can't remember how long this went on with DS or even when he got teeth... it was 8 years ago to be fair and I have a terrible memory.

I know a baby who was born with a tooth!

DS got his first about 3 weeks before his first birthday, but was "teething" from about 4 months.

DS got his first teeth (bottom two popped up together) at 14 weeks, He was quite a bit earlier than friends' similar-aged DC though - around 6 months seemed to be average. There were a couple of weeks of finger-chewing/drooling/people saying "oooh it looks like he'll be teething soon" in a tone that implied I should do something to stop it ( as to what!) but tbh the first two just appeared with very little fuss.

He has suffered a bit more with each subsequent lot as they've gone further back, but he does appear to have got off quite lightly compared to what some poor DC seem to go through. Think I took the brunt of the first lot as they did get in the way of bf for a while - not fun, but it was quickly sorted and before long it was exactly the same as just with gums.

He's almost 15 months now and only has the last four to go (one of which looks like it's about to erupt any day now) so it's not been too long from beginning to end really.

DD - 50 weeks

DS1 - 46 weeks

DS2 - 15 weeks.

Goodness only knows how old DS3 will be!
